The Unlikely Request

Tonight as I was working on my computer, I got a notice from Twitter of a new follower.  I checked out the person and was sadden to have to report the person because of a graphic profile picture.  The picture in combination with the short bio shows a person who is deeply lost and deeply desperate for finding love while going about it in all the wrong ways.  She is likely to find a guy who is more than willing to use her then dump her as if she’s garbage.  While not wanting to be critical of the person since I don’t know her.  The harsh reality is the more a woman reveals her body especially certain areas that are best kept covered, the more likely she is to attract the worst males have to offer.  The other harsh reality is that a man could pretend to be attracted to her including all the wrong reasons and then use that against her to force her to do stuff she normally would not do.  That can happen all to often with victims of human trafficking.  The third reality of it is the job front.  With this unstable economy, the fastest way to lose a job that one has or not receive a job that one has applied for is a bad profile picture that shows graphic or obscene images.  Regardless of whether a company should check out an employee’s or job candidate’s social media, it is done and can cost a person his or her job.

As I stated before, I do not know who this woman is that decided to follow me on Twitter, but I have decided to pray for her.  It is obvious that she is hurting somewhere even if it is deep inside and somewhat suppressed.  Join me in this endeavor and maybe the woman will realize what her legitimate needs are and not try to find them in all the wrong places.
