A Prayer For My Church

Tonight as I was sitting at a coffee shop thinking about prayer time on Sunday morning at church, these words came to mind. Thanks God for the inspiration as it could only have been from You. This is the 2nd time in as many days that God has prompted me to write something. This is the first time that I have written a prayer. Feel free to change GracePoint to the name of your church and use it. Think of the revival that could happen if we were to be completely unrestrained in our worship and dedication to God and His calling…

There is no amen as the prayer is meant to be a springboard to listening to the Holy Spirit’s promptings not an all inclusive nothing else needs to be said.

Lord,
I want us at GracePoint to be able to worship unrestrained. That we would be bold to the neighbors around our building. Generating both immediate and eternal relationships Help us to shine bright Your Light. Let Your Glory fill this LAND. Help us to lift Your Name High so that none can deny you. You are Victorious. You are Awesome. You are Mighty. Help us all to declare Your Holy Name. Help us to magnify Your Name wherever we are at. You are Beautiful. There is none like You. Help us to see Your Healing Hand. Help us to spread the word that Jesus Saves. Help us to be humble and see You earnestly. Help us to cry out to You. Help us to have a passion to worship and praise You. Help us to sit back and listen to You out of reverence and awe. I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on/ and there will be an end to these troubles/but until that day comes/ Still I will praise You Lord Still I will praise You Shape our hearts into the images You want them to be.
